“Woe to you Korazin, woe to you Bethsaida, because if the miracles had occurred in Tyre and Tsidon that have occurred in you, they doubtless would have repented in sackcloth and in ashes.

Woe (judgment is coming) to those [judges] who issue evil statutes, And to those [magistrates] who constantly record unjust and oppressive decisions.

Woe to those who publish a publication of depravity and write evil and make wicked laws: and when they write, write injustice:

Woe to those who decree unrighteous decrees, and to the writers who write oppressive decrees;

Woe to you, O land, when your king is a child and when your [incompetent] officials and princes feast in the morning.

Woe (judgment is coming) to them, for they have wandered away from Me! Devastation is theirs, because they have rebelled and trespassed against Me! I would redeem them, but they speak lies against Me.

Woe to you who are well-fed (gorged, satiated) now, for you will be hungry. Woe to you who laugh now [enjoying a life of self-indulgence], for you will mourn and weep [and deeply long for God]

“You snakes–who told you that you could escape from the punishment God is about to send?

You brood of vipers, how can you speak good things when you are evil?

For the mouth speaks out of that which fills the heart.

“You snakes! You poisonous snakes! How can you escape being condemned to hell?

You have condemned and murdered The Righteous One and he has not opposed you. You are doomed! You make unjust laws that oppress my people.

These wicked people are born sinners; even from birth they have lied and gone their own way. Who justify the wicked and acquit the guilty for a bribe, And take away the rights of those who are in the right! How terrible it will be for the one who enacts unjust decrees, for those who write oppressive laws that they have prescribed perversions…

They are all gone out of the way, they are together become good for nothing, there is none that does good, no not one. Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness; their feet are swift to shed blood: destruction and misery are in their ways; and the way of peace they have not known: there is no fear of God before their eyes.

Their poison is like the poison of a serpent; They are like the deaf cobra that stops its ear. When John saw many Pharisees and Sadducees coming to him to be baptized, he said to them, “

[Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you swallow up widows’ houses, and to cover it up you make long prayers; therefore you will receive the greater condemnation.]

In the days of those [final ten] kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will its sovereignty be left for another people; but it will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it will stand forever.

How much more do you think he will receive capital punishment, he who has trampled upon The Son of God and esteemed the blood of his covenant to be like that of every person, who also was made holy by it, and he has despised The Spirit of grace?

Break off their fangs, O God! Smash the jaws of these lions, O LORD! Here is a nation that attacks like a lioness and is as ferocious as a lion. It doesn’t lie down until it eats its prey and drinks the blood of its victim.”

God brought him forth out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn: he shall eat up the nations his enemies, and shall break their bones, and pierce them through with his arrows.

The Righteous One will rejoice, who sees the vengeance, and he will wash his hands in the blood of the wicked.

Rejoice, ye heavens, with him, and let all the angels of God worship him; rejoice ye Gentiles, with his people, and let all the sons of God strengthen themselves in him; for he will avenge the blood of his sons, and he will render vengeance, and recompense justice to his enemies, and will reward them that hate him; and the Lord shall purge the land of his people.

Let all the people of the earth acknowledge the LORD and turn to him! Let all the nations worship you!

I solemnly [and wholeheartedly] testifying to both Jews and Greeks, urging them to turn in repentance to God and [to have] faith in our Lord Jesus Christ [for salvation].

I have declared to both Jews and Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus.

The [appointed period of] time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent [change your inner self—your old way of thinking, regret past sins, live your life in a way that proves repentance; seek God’s purpose for your life] and believe [with a deep, abiding trust] in the good news [regarding salvation].”

The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and loud voices called out in heaven:

“The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever.”

Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion…

How great are his signs! and how mighty are his wonders! his kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion is from generation to generation…
