im•pen•i•tent (ɪmˈpɛn ɪ tənt)
adj.
not feeling regret about one’s sin or sins; obdurate.
pen•i•tent (ˈpɛn ɪ tənt)
adj.
1. feeling or expressing sorrow for sin or wrongdoing and disposed to atonement; repentant; contrite.
un·re·gen·er·ate (ŭn′rĭ-jĕn′ər-ĭt)
adj.
1. Not spiritually or morally reformed; sinful or unrepentant.
2. Persistently unwilling to accept change; obstinate: “a senator who had been an unregenerate foe to woman suffrage”(Lillian Faderman).
For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
• The feminine noun עצבת (‘assebet), meaning injury, wound or pain (Proverbs 10:10, Job 9:28).
He that winketh with the eye causeth sorrow: but a prating fool shall fall.
I am afraid of all my sorrows, I know that thou wilt not hold me innocent.
• The feminine noun מעצבה (ma’aseba), literally meaning place of pain or terror (Isaiah 50:11 only).
Behold, all ye that kindle a fire, that compass yourselves about with sparks: walk in the light of your fire, and in the sparks that ye have kindled. This shall ye have of mine hand; ye shall lie down in sorrow.
• The feminine noun חנינה (hanina), meaning favor (Jeremiah 16:13 only).
Therefore will I cast you out of this land into a land that ye know not, neither ye nor your fathers; and there shall ye serve other gods day and night; where I will not shew you favour.
• The feminine noun תחנה (tehinna), meaning favor (Joshua 11:20),
For it was of the LORD to harden their hearts, that they should come against Israel in battle, that he might destroy them utterly, and that they might have no favour, but that he might destroy them, as the LORD commanded Moses.
• or supplication (1 Kings 8:52). Note that this noun is spelled the same way as תחנה (tahana), meaning encampment, from the verb חנה (hana), meaning to decline or encamp.
That thine eyes may be open unto the supplication of thy servant, and unto the supplication of thy people Israel, to hearken unto them in all that they call for unto thee.
The narration therefore registers as omniscient in both a literary and theological sense—a voice of a merciless God, speaking in tones and language meant for his own purposes and not for ours.

Strong’s 1818: Blood, of man, an animal, the juice of the grape, bloodshed
The Lord comes with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and To convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
Let the lying lips be put to silence; which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous.
But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:
For there is no respect of persons with God.
You in my mercy have led forth the people which you have redeemed: you have guided them in my strength to my holy habitation.

Song of Trust in God’s Provision
1In that day shall this song be sung in the land of Judah; We have a strong city; salvation will God appoint for walls and bulwarks.
2Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in.
3Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
4Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:
5For he bringeth down them that dwell on high; the lofty city, he layeth it low; he layeth it low, even to the ground; he bringeth it even to the dust.
6The foot shall tread it down, even the feet of the poor, and the steps of the needy.
7The way of the just is uprightness: thou, most upright, dost weigh the path of the just.
8Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O LORD, have we waited for thee; the desire of our soul is to thy name, and to the remembrance of thee.
9With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.
10Let favour be shewed to the wicked, yet will he not learn righteousness: in the land of uprightness will he deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the LORD.
11LORD, when thy hand is lifted up, they will not see: but they shall see, and be ashamed for their envy at the people; yea, the fire of thine enemies shall devour them.
12LORD, thou wilt ordain peace for us: for thou also hast wrought all our works in us.
13O LORD our God, other lords beside thee have had dominion over us: but by thee only will we make mention of thy name.
14They are dead, they shall not live; they are deceased, they shall not rise: therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them, and made all their memory to perish.
15Thou hast increased the nation, O LORD, thou hast increased the nation: thou art glorified: thou hadst removed it far unto all the ends of the earth.
16LORD, in trouble have they visited thee, they poured out a prayer when thy chastening was upon them.
17Like as a woman with child, that draweth near the time of her delivery, is in pain, and crieth out in her pangs; so have we been in thy sight, O LORD.
18We have been with child, we have been in pain, we have as it were brought forth wind; we have not wrought any deliverance in the earth; neither have the inhabitants of the world fallen.
19Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.
20Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.
21For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.

The things we talked about meant nothing to them: they rang no bell. (Nicholas Monsarrat, This Is Schoolroom, 1939)

Esther is the story you are trying to tell as this book is the most quoted on Earth between all realms of human existence. The conclusion to the Old Testament and the New Testament is a circumcised heart. This circuitry is a one way street and blood has married water is the mystery of the book of life.
Human blood cannot be artificially created therefore an individual soul cannot be on record digitally. As the eye cannot be artificially created to access the souls heart memory hard coded in the DNA which means the mind is the veil between heaven and earth.
The rainbow bridge is the blood between the mind and the heart and the soul. Hence, a circumcised heart lifts the veil between conscious memory versus unconscious memory.

אביחיל
אביהיל
There are two different Hebrew names in the Bible which in translations ended up as the identical name Abihail. We’ll call them Abihail I (אביחיל) and Abihail II (אביהיל).
For some obscure reason, the name Abihail I (אביחיל) is applied solely to men, whereas the name Abihail II (אביהיל) is borne only by women:
Abihail II (אביהיל)
Meaning
Father Of Light, My Father Shines
Etymology
From (1) the noun אב (‘ab), father, and (2) the verb הלל (halal), to shine or praise.
• The wife of Abishur and the mother of Ahban and Molid of the family of Judah (1 Chronicles 2:29).
• Someone associated to the wife of king Rehoboam (2 Chronicles 11:18).
The exact who and what of the latter is somewhat source of debate. Both NOBSE Study Bible Name List and Jones’ Dictionary of Old Testament Proper Names insist that Abihail is the wife of Rehoboam, but the text seems to suggest that she is the mother of the wife, who’s named Mahalath. Mahalath’s father is Jerimoth, son of David, and Abihail is a descendant of Eliab, son of Jesse.
הלל
The verb הלל (halal) means to shine (what exited stars do) or praise and cheer (what exited souls do). It may even denote too much of a good thing: to be raving mad. From the second sense derive: noun הליל (hillul), praise or rejoicing; noun מהלל (mahalel), agent or place of praise, and noun תהלה (tehilla), song of praise. From the third sense come nouns הוללה (holela) and הוללות (holelut), both meaning madness.
The root הלל (halal) covers quite an array of meanings. The renowned Scripture theorist and father of modern Hebrew philology Wilhelm Gesenius squeezed all various meanings and nuances of halal into the central charge of splenduit. But almost a hundred years later, the authoritative dictionary of Brown, Driver and Briggs, listed two separate roots halal, each with their own group of meanings.
Three quarters of a century later, Harris, Archer and Waltke published their lexicon, and split the second root of Brown, Driver and Briggs in two, forming three distinct roots halal. This is of course wonderfully clever, but as mere readers of the Scriptures, we should never forget that to the Hebrews these three roots were indistinguishable.
Note that at first glance the form הלל (halal) may seem somewhat similar to חלל (halal, or chalal), but it’s really quite different and no Hebrew poet would entertain a parallel between them.
הלל I
The verb הלל (halal I) denotes what lamps and celestial bodies do: shine, emit light (Job 31:26, Isaiah 13:10). This verb occurs a mere five or six times in the Bible, but it exists in cognate languages with similar meanings. In Job 41:10 this verb is employed to state how the sneezes of Leviathan “flash forth light”. Equally enigmatic is a statement made by the prophet Isaiah, “How you have fallen from the heavens, O shining one, son of dawn” (Isaiah 14:12). The noun translated with “shining one” is הילל (helel) and was derived from our root halal. BDB lists this word as an appellation, an epithet, but HAW interprets it as the proper name Helel.
הלל II
The identical verb הלל (halal II) means to be boastful or to praise (also see the other important praise-verb ידה, yada). Our verb הלל (halal) shows up all over the Bible, from praising God in a liturgical setting to letting it rip in an informal bout of worship. It’s even used to convey praise for commendable people (Proverbs 31:30). This verb yields three derivations:
• The masculine noun הליל (hillul), meaning praise or a rejoicing. It occurs only in plural: הלולים (hillulim), literally meaning congratulations or rejoicings (Judges 9:27, Leviticus 19:24).
• The masculine noun מהלל (mahalel), again meaning praise but literally a “container” for praise. It occurs only in Proverbs 27:21 where silver and gold are tested in a crucible and a furnace, and a man in his “container for” praise.
• The feminine noun תהלה (tehilla), meaning praise, song of praise or thanksgiving or adoration, or it denotes praiseworthy deeds. This noun occurs all over the Bible. HAW condenses the meaning of this beautiful noun as, “the results of halal as well as the divine acts which merit that activity”.
הלל III
The troublesome verb הלל (halal III) means to be insane, or rather irrational. It yields two derivatives:
• The feminine noun הוללה (holela), meaning madness (Ecclesiastes 1:17).
• The feminine noun הוללות (holelut), meaning madness as well (Ecclesiastes 10:13).
Without designating a separate root, BDB carefully acknowledges a mere few occasions in which derivations of the halal stem may denote a kind of madness: Ecclesiastes 1:17 (compare to 2:12, 7:25), where the feminine noun הוללה (holela) seems grouped together with folly, and both contrast wisdom (see the “name” Hochma).
The other instance of halal-madness that BDB is willing to concede occurs in the same book: Ecclesiastes 10:13 (compare with 9:3), where the feminine noun הוללות (holelut) is modified by the word רעה (ra’a), the common Hebrew word for evil, and both reflect the result of a process that starts with speaking nonsense.
The younger lexicon of HAW, however, counts sixteen instances of this meaning of madness; enough to recognize a whole separate root (1 Samuel 21:13, Psalm 102:9, Jeremiah 25:16).
Note
Here at Abarim Publications we are not at all convinced that these three seemingly different groups of meanings are so dissimilar that the existence of three separate verbs is the only logical conclusion. Even after a century of quantum mechanics, many people still have the tendency to lean towards determinism; the erroneous idea that one thing invariably leads to another and every situational mode can be classified in its rigorous category. But black-and-white thinking is old, and in the Biblical arena it never even existed. Sure, good opposes evil but not the way that wisdom opposes folly. And halal cannot be radically nested under the wings of either wisdom or folly, but is rather a third modus. In Ecclesiastes 2:12, Solomon resolves to look at (1) wisdom, (2) holela, and (3) folly, and not (a) wisdom and (b) holela-and-folly.
Halal denotes an exuberance, for whatever reason. It takes no great poetic leap to see symmetry between the shining of a star and the praising of a worshiper, certainly also because in the Bible true believers are compared to stars (Daniel 12:3). Halal denotes a letting go of restraints and inhibitions, and, entirely depending on the heart behind it, can result in either a complete surrender to God’s control, or a detrimental flight without anyone at the helm. Halal can turn to either a most holy expression of devotion or else a blasphemous display of derangement.
And whether the act of halal is reckoned positive or negative also depends much on the heart of the spectator. The apostle Paul warns his followers to ease up on a typical halal-expression, namely speaking in tongues, when guests are in the congregation, lest they think the congregants are insane (1 CORINTHIANS 14:23). And when David transports the Ark of the Covenant from the house of Obed-edom to Jerusalem, he shows such a gladness that he surely acted out the verb halal II. When his wife Michal sees him, she insults him by readily applying verb halal III. David’s response seems somewhat cool, but of Michal it was said that she remained childless until her death. Tradition has her struck with infertility but it may very well be that David stopped seeing her all together (2 Samuel 6:16-23).
A similar confusion occurs when spectators who have never personally experienced spiritual rapture see someone at it. Bernini’s sculpture called the Ecstasy of Saint Teresa marvelously captures this rapture, but critics (and pop writers) recognize sexual euphoria. The usual battles ensued and raged, until a group of scientists took brain scans of people who were having sex and compared them to brain scans of people worshipping. Lo and behold, the exact same brain regions were activated in both groups (Andrew Newberg, John Horgan, also see Miracles: God, science, and Psychology in the Paranormal [2008] and Where God and Science Meet: How Brain and Evolutionary Studies Alter Our Understanding of Religion [2006]). The Bible frequently equates the relationship of God with his people to that of a husband with his wife, and now we know that this is more than a metaphor. In fact, it seems reasonable to conclude that a frequent bout of worship is an indispensable element of a healthy sex life.
It seems that we are designed to let go every now and then. When we let go in the presence of God, we’ll be worshipping. When we let go but don’t focus on God, we’ll be doing lots of other things, most of which will cause grave trouble. It’s no coincidence that in our times we see a decrease in divine experience, but an increase in what MTV calls partying. Lacking proper temples, our kids go loose in rave caves and surrender to nothingness. A pressing task of the church today is to reinstate the old halal (i.e. Hallelujah) tradition, the letting go in surrender to God.

Hadassah
Meaning
Myrtle
Etymology
From the noun הדס (hadas), myrtle.
There’s only one person named Hadassah in the Bible. It’s the Hebrew name of Esther, who became the wife of king Ahasuerus and thus queen of Persia in place of Vashti.
The name Hadassah occurs only once in the Bible, in Esther 2:7, which reads: “…and he [Mordecai] was bringing up Hadassah, that is Esther, his uncle’s daughter..”.
Scholars agree that the name Hadassah is a feminized form of the word הדס (hadas), meaning myrtle:
The noun הדס (hadash) describes the myrtle tree. It occurs in several related languages but it’s unclear where it originated and from which verb it derived. That means that we don’t know what action this tree was named after, and thus, essentially what the noun really means.
In the Bible this tree has nevertheless an important symbolic role, from booths made from myrtles to angelic horsemen standing among them, and a holocaust-averting empress who was named after them.
הדס
The masculine noun הדס (hadash) means myrtle (-tree). This noun has no obvious root, but it occurs in several related languages. It appears to be a relatively recently developed word.
The myrtle is a perennial shrub with white flowers that were used for perfume. Since this plant is quite common in Palestine, the Bible uses the myrtle a few times symbolically (Isaiah 41:19, 55:13). Most notable is the Zecharian scene of the horsemen who stand among the myrtle trees (Zechariah 1:8).
The myrtle is also mentioned as one of the plants from which the returned Israelites made their huts for the feast of booths (Nehemiah 8:15).

Κανδάκης (Kandakēs)
Noun – Genitive Feminine Singular
Strong’s 2582: Candace, a proper name; the Candace, a dynastic name for queens of the Ethiopians in Abyssinia. Of foreign origin.
Originally, Candace was not really a personal name but rather a Nubian (= Cushite or Ethiopian) authoritative title, not unlike Pharaoh or Caesar. This name occurs once in the Bible: in ACTS 8:27, God sends Philip the Evangelist on the road between Jerusalem and Gaza, to meet with an unnamed court official of Candace, queen of Ethiopia. While in his chariot the man is reading from a scroll of Isaiah (which by itself is highly remarkable as those scrolls were very rare) and allows Philip to explain it to him. The official desires to be baptized and, we may assume, takes his new found convictions home to his monarch.

Why have they provoked me to anger with their graven images, and with strange vanities?
Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee,
saith the LORD.
Be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create:
For, Behold,
I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy. The LORD is great in Zion; and he is high above all the people. Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined. Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.
They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.
My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?
They shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
In the end of years they shall join themselves together; for the king’s daughter of the south shall come to the king of the north to make an agreement: but she shall not retain the power of the arm; neither shall he stand, nor his arm: but she shall be given up, and they that brought her, and he that begat her, and he that strengthened her in these times.
The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.
Whoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.
It shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honour before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it.
Again I will build thee, and thou shalt be built, O virgin of Israel: thou shalt again be adorned with thy tabrets, and shalt go forth in the dances of them that make merry.
He that sat upon the throne said,
Behold,
I make all things new.
And he said unto me,
Write: for these words are true and faithful.
It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
“Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk Without money and without price.
He that believeth on me,
as the scripture hath said,
out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
Jesus answered and said unto her,
If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
Whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;
The city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the LORD bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound.
A light to bring revelation to the Gentiles, And the glory of Your people Israel.”
Hearken unto me, my people; and give ear unto me, O my nation: for a law shall proceed from me, and I will make my judgment to rest for a light of the people.
The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.
Whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
But beware lest somehow this liberty of yours become a stumbling block to those who are weak.
And he said unto me,
My grace is sufficient for thee:
for my strength is made perfect in weakness.
Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is LIBERTY.

20And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God? 21It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.
A Message from Lady Liberty….
God sent me before you to preserve you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance.
All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them.
He hath made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand hath he hid me, and made me a polished shaft; in his quiver hath he hid me;
My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer. My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding.
My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly. For truly my words shall not be false: he that is perfect in knowledge is with thee.
Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him which is perfect in knowledge?
Suffer me a little, and I will shew thee that I have yet to speak on God’s behalf. The Spirit of God has made me, And the breath of the Almighty gives me life. For truly my words are not false; One who is perfect in knowledge is with you.
Is it good unto thee that thou shouldest oppress, that thou shouldest despise the work of thine hands, and shine upon the counsel of the wicked?
If thou canst answer me, set thy words in order before me, stand up. Hear my words, O ye wise men; and give ear unto me, ye that have knowledge. Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.
How long till you put an end to words?
Gain understanding, and afterward we will speak. I have understanding as well as you; I am not inferior to you.
Indeed, who does not know such things as these?
Oh that my words were now written! oh that they were printed in a book! Oh that one would hear me! behold, my desire is, that the Almighty would answer me, and that mine adversary had written a book.
Will ye accept his person?
Jeremiah 6:2
I have likened the daughter of Zion to a comely and delicate woman.
Will ye contend for God?
Surely I would take it upon my shoulder, and bind it as a crown to me. I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:
To whom hast thou uttered words?
I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.
Whose spirit came from thee?
There are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. Give her of the fruit of her hands, And let her own works praise her in the gates. She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her.
For the seed shall be prosperous; the vine shall give her fruit, and the ground shall give her increase, and the heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these things.
For God will save Zion, and will build the cities of Judah: that they may dwell there, and have it in possession. Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
Behold, he smote the rock, that the waters gushed out, and the streams overflowed;
Can he give bread also?
The wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
Can he provide flesh for his people?
Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister; and call understanding thy kinswoman:
For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
The children of thy elect sister greet thee. Amen.

ἀδελφῆς (adelphēs)

Scholars insist that there are two distinct roots שׁאר (sha’ar) and one שׂאר (s’r), but although any relationship between these three may not be immediately obvious to some, keep in mind that until the Masoretes added their symbols to the Hebrew texts in the Middle Ages, the following words were indistinguishable:
שׁאר I
The verb שאר (sha’ar I) means to remain, left over or left behind. HAW Theological Wordbook of the Old Testament reports that “sha’ar seems to be used almost exclusively to indicate the static action of surviving after an elimination process” (Exodus 10:19, Ruth 1:3, 1 Samuel 9:24).
This verb comes with some obvious derivatives:
• The masculine noun שאר (she’ar), meaning rest, residue or remnant (Isaiah 10:19, 1 Chronicles 11:8).
• The feminine noun שארית (she’erit), meaning remnant or remainder (Isaiah 44:17, Genesis 45:7).
שׁאר II
Root שאר (sha’ar II) is assumed to have existed because of the common noun שאר (she’er), meaning flesh, and the trouble most scholars appear to have with connecting flesh to a verb that means to remain. The obvious solution is that a person secretes less than he consumes for the obvious fact that some of what he eats builds up his body. A person’s body is what stays behind.
Our word occurs to mean flesh for consumption (Exodus 21:10), and as symbol of physical power (Psalm 78:20). But it also occurs to indicate a blood-relation (surviving in our expression “one’s own flesh and blood” – Leviticus 18:12). In Proverbs 11:17 this word is used to mean self or one’s self.
Note that the noun בשר (basar), the more common word for flesh, comes from the verb בשר (basar), to bring glad tidings, even tidings of comfort and joy.
שׂאר
The meaning of root שאר (s’r) is formally unknown, and only one derivation remains in the Bible: the masculine noun שאר (se’or), meaning leaven (Exodus 12:15, 12:19 and 13:7, Leviticus 2:11 and Deuteronomy 16:4 only). Bread, or anything else, that had leaven in it was called חמץ (hames) and the famous unleavened bread of Passover was called מצה (massa).
Leaven in the Bible
Leaven is a fungus that freely flows through the air and settles on everything, like living dust. It feeds on sugars and produces carbon dioxide, which explains bubbles in bread and beer. Archeology shows that leaven was domesticated thousands of years ago, when people managed to isolate and cultivate strands of leaven that resulted in the best beer and bread. The key to the process was to not use all the leavened dough for bread, but to leave some behind. That remnant or residue was then injected into the next batch of dough, and in time this next batch would have become fully permeated by the original leaven.
The word for bread (לחם, lehem) was also used to denote food in general, and even all things that sustain a person or even a society. The smallest trace of leaven will eventually find its way through the whole batch of dough, and produces a gas (רוח, ruah, meaning wind or spirit) which makes the bread more tasty and easier to eat and digest. Hence leaven acquired the strong symbolic meaning of what we today would call a fad or fashion, or even a “going viral”: a full-fledged movement of passion (whether joyous or riotous) that grew out of a relatively small concept and pervades the whole of society.
There’s nothing intrinsically bad about this social leaven; it just happens to be the way our world works. Life without social leaven would be boring and not very effective, but, as with any kind of fast track, sometimes things go wrong and the wrong kind of info creeps in (smoking is cool, adultery is fun, etcetera). In that case it’s sometimes best to condemn the whole strand of leaven, and start all over with a fresh batch. That’s obviously what the Hebrews did when they left Egypt (Exodus 12:8), but it’s also what Descartes attempted when he reduced all knowledge to his famous cogito ergo sum.
Jesus compared the evangel to leaven; it starts out as a simple message of love and forgiveness but spreads through the world like leaven through dough, until it forms into a universal and spiritual kingdom (MATTHEW 13:33). Unfortunately, humans like bad news much more than good news and most of the winds that blow our world are negative (nearly all of the violence we believe in comes from our television; the real world outside our windows is nearly entirely at peace). Hence Jesus warned his audience for the leaven of Herod and that of the Pharisees (MARK 8:15), and Paul warned for the leaven of misinformation (GALATIANS 5:9).
Paul further spoke of the leaven of boasting and arrogance (1 CORINTHIANS 5:6) and explained that the old leaven must be cleaned out and a start must be made with a new, unleavened lump, “just as you are in fact unleavened. For Christ our Passover also has been sacrificed. Therefore let us keep the [Passover-] Feast, not with the old leaven, the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with bread without leaven, the bread of sincerity and truth” (1 CORINTHIANS 5:7-8).
After all, knowledge puffs up (φυσιοω, phusioo), but love builds up (1 CORINTHIANS 8:1); knowledge is the gas, love is the bread.
The Holy Spirit calls on Jesus Christ to spread the good 📰 faith is alive:
To those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus’ feet, and heard his word.
Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment.
One thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.
Doth not wisdom cry?

The mountains saw thee, and they trembled: the overflowing of the water passed by: the deep uttered his voice, and lifted up his hands on high.
The sun and moon stood still in their habitation: at the light of thine arrows they went, and at the shining of thy glittering spear.
For I will restore health to you And heal you of your wounds,’
says the LORD,
‘Because they called you an outcast saying: “This is Zion; No one seeks her.”
Note: the new living translation has remove the daughter of Zion see below….why would this version do that, ask yourselves prophets? since u love to quote scripture from it. The main source you use is the translation that has removed me from the Bible to me Satan altered the word of God. This has lead u on the wrong path. If u continue to read scripture Satan wrote then you have flawed scripture. This version is not I repeat is not what God said. How can u read scripture if u read the Bible of satan. I don’t want u to go to hell so I have to tell u the truth.
👀 they replaced the word “Zion” with “Jerusalem “ not correct…how many other errors are there in the new living translation…
I will give you back your health and heal your wounds,” says the LORD. “For you are called an outcast— ‘Jerusalem for whom no one cares.’”

Sapienship is a social impact company with projects in the fields of entertainment and education, whose main goal is to focus the public conversation on the most important global challenges facing the world today.
Yuval Noah Harari gave keynote speeches on the future of humanity in Davos 2020 and 2018, on the World Economic Forum’s main Congress Hall stage. He regularly discusses global issues with heads of state and has had public conversations with Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz, Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis. Harari has also met with French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany, Argentine President Mauricio Macri, German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, and Shanghai’s Mayor Ying Yong. In 2019, Harari sat down for a filmed discussion on technology and the future of society with Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg, and in 2018 he presented the first ever TED talk delivered by a digital avatar.
Harari originally specialized in world history, medieval history, and military history. His current research focuses on macro-historical questions such as: What is the relationship between history and biology? What is the essential difference between Homo sapiens and other animals? Is there justice in history? Does history have a direction? Did people become happier as history unfolded? What ethical questions do science and technology raise in the 21st century?
Published in 2014, Harari’s Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind has become an international hit, with over 23 million copies sold. It is a New York Times top 10 bestseller, which has stayed on the paper’s bestseller list for over half the time it has been available in the US, over a six year period. The book held positions #1-#3 on the Sunday Times’ bestseller list for 96 consecutive weeks. Sapiens was recommended by Barack Obama, Bill Gates, Natalie Portman, Janelle Monáe, Chris Evans, and many others. The Guardian has credited Sapiens with revolutionizing the non-fiction market and popularizing ‘brainy books’.
In 2016 Prof. Harari returned with Homo Deus: A Brief History of Tomorrow, a critically acclaimed book that examines the big future projects facing humanity in the 21st century. Since its publication, over 10 million copies of the book have been sold worldwide.
After venturing deep into the past and then the future, Yuval Noah Harari published 21 Lessons for the 21st Century in 2018. Here he stopped to take the pulse of our current global climate, focusing on the biggest questions of the present moment: What is really happening right now? What are today’s greatest challenges and choices? What should we pay attention to? 6 Million copies of 21 Lessons have been sold worldwide.
In 2020 Harari (as creator and co-writer) joined forces with renowned comics artists David Vandermeulen (co-writer) and Daniel Casanave ( illustrator). Together, they created Sapiens: A Graphic History – a radical adaptation of the original Sapiens into a graphic novel series that is bursting with wit, humour and colour. These illustrated books cast Yuval Noah Harari in the role of guide, who takes the reader through the entire history of the human species, accompanied by a range of fictional characters and traveling through time, space and popular culture references. The series will be published in four volumes, and the first two books are already available – with over 1 Million copies sold.
Autumn 2022 will see Harari venturing into the world of children’s books for the first time, with the pre-teen series Unstoppable Us. Here, he tells the unbelievable true story of humans – our all-conquering and insatiable species – in a way that is accessible to kids. The series will be published in 4 immersive volumes, featuring full-colour illustrations by Ricard Zaplana Ruiz, starting with Unstoppable Us, Volume 1: How Humans Took Over the World
Prof. Harari’s writings have received several accolades. In 2021 he was presented with a US Association of Foreign Press Correspondents Honorary Award. In 2020, he was awarded an honorary doctorate from VUB (the Free University of Brussels), and received the CITIC Author of the Year prize in China, for Sapiens: A Graphic History. In 2019, 21 Lessons was honoured as ‘Knowledge Book of the Year’ by the German magazine Bild der Wissenschaft, Homo Deus was recognized as the ’Wise Book of the Year’ by Krakow’s Jagiellonian University, and Sapiens won the ‘Academic Book of the Year’ prize at the UK’s Academic Book Trade Awards. In 2017 Homo Deus received Handelsblatt’s German Economic Book Award for “the most thoughtful and influential economic book of the year”, and in 2015 Sapiens won China’s Wenjin Book Award.
Yuval Noah Harari lectures around the world on the topics explored in his books, and offers his knowledge and time to various audiences on a voluntary basis. He writes articles for publications such as The Guardian, The Financial Times, The New York Times, TIME and The Economist. In 2020 Harari wrote and interviewed extensively on the global COVID-19 crisis discussing the pandemic’s implications on major news channels, including CNN and the BBC and in 2022 he commented publicly on Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, with his article on this topic becoming The Guardian Opinion’s most-read opinion piece of all time. Harari was featured in a profile piece on CBS’ 60 Minutes programme in 2021.

To The Most High….
O Lord, I beseech thee, let now thine ear be attentive to the prayer of thy servant, and to the prayer of thy servants, who desire to fear thy name: and prosper, I pray thee, thy servant this day, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man. For I was the king’s cupbearer.
Now, my God, let, I beseech thee, thine eyes be open, and let thine ears be attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.
But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.
What is it then?
I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.
I thank you God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day;
Greatly desiring to see thee, being mindful of thy tears, that I may be filled with joy;
When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also.
O turn unto me, and have mercy upon me; give thy strength unto thy servant, and save the son of thine handmaid.
Yours Truly,

A Message from the Most High….
Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou hast made before me: I have hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there for ever; and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.
Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion: for I will make thine horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass: and thou shalt beat in pieces many people: and I will consecrate their gain unto the LORD, and their substance unto the Lord of the whole earth.
Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war:
For with thee will I break in pieces the nations,
and with thee will I destroy kingdoms;
And with thee will I break in pieces the horse and his rider; and with thee will I break in pieces the chariot and his rider; With thee also will I break in pieces man and woman;
and with thee will I break in pieces old and young;
and with thee will I break in pieces the young man and the maid;
I will also break in pieces with thee the shepherd and his flock; and with thee will I break in pieces the husbandman and his yoke of oxen; and with thee will I break in pieces captains and rulers.
Shall the axe boast itself against him that heweth therewith?
Shall the saw magnify itself against him that shaketh it?
As if the rod should shake itself against them that lift it up, or as if the staff should lift up itself, as if it were no wood.
Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make ☝️ vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?
Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter’s clay:
For shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not?
Or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding?
Is it not yet a very little while, and Lebanon shall be turned into a fruitful field, and the fruitful field shall be esteemed as a forest?
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
And thou shalt command the children of Israel, that they bring thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamp to burn always.
Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

So David inquired of the LORD,
saying,
“Shall I pursue this troop?”
“Shall I overtake them?”
And He answered him,
“Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all.”
“It shall come to pass That before they call, I will answer; And while they are still speaking, I will hear.”

Bethuel Meaning….
Without further argumentation, BDB Theological Dictionary assumes a text error and derives the first part of Bethuel from the Hebrew word מת (mat), meaning man and reads Man Of God for a meaning of Bethuel. But Bethuel starts with bat, not with mat and this explanation seems rather uncalled for.
In Hebrew there are two words בת (bat); one means daughter (see בן, ben), the other one indicates a measure of volume equal to about 22 liters. The central ו (waw) of our name could be due to a third personal possessive pronoun: his, which would give the name Bethuel the meaning of His Daughter Is El. But since El is decidedly masculine, this interpretation can scarcely be seriously maintained.
Bethuel was the father of Rebekah who was a key-element in bringing forth the nation of Israel.
mostly it denotes the realm of authority of the house-father, or אב (ab)
In the larger economy, a house interacts with other houses. These interactions are governed by the אב (ab), or “father” and executed by the בנים (benim), or “sons”: those people living in the house, irrespective of any biological relation with the אב (ab). The “sons” combined add up to אם (’em), which means both “mother” and “tribe”.
The fundamental meaning of the word בית (bayit) appears to be a kind of enclosure, specifically for keeping, safekeeping or containing, and is contrasted by a wide array of specialized words meaning any kind of specific habitat, ranging from tent to palace. In that sense, the word בית (bayit) does not denote a specific kind of building, but rather the function of container. As such it is aptly used to describe a ship’s hull (Genesis 6:14). In Genesis 6:14, Exodus 25:11, 37:2 and 1 Kings 7:9 occurs the term מבית ומחוץ, which means ‘on the outer housing’.
In Exodus 28:26 and 39:19 our word appears to denote the ephod’s harness. In these instances, our word is followed by the letter ה (he), and this prefix often refers to a movement towards. But this same prefix may also turn a masculine word into a feminine one. The rule isn’t wholly waterproof, but masculinity tends to describe individuality and femininity sociality. A feminine version of בית namely ביתה would in theory describe some kind of collective, perhaps many little elements like knobs or rings.
One very important usage of the word בית (bayit) is to describe the entire membership and economy of one’s household. Hence the Bible speaks of the house of Jacob (Genesis 35:2, 46:27), the house of David (2 Samuel 7:11) and the house of Israel (Exodus 16:31). That the word בית (bayit) emphasizes collectivity much more than a physical building or even biological descent becomes evident when Abraham (then the biological father of only Ishmael) is told to circumcise all males in his household, regardless of whether they were born there or bought (Genesis 17:12-13, 18:19). Members of a household are usually referred to as benim, meaning ‘sons.’ Read our article on the name Ben for a closer look at that marvelous word (and see our article on the verb περιτεμνω, peritemno, to circumcise).
Most translations of Proverbs 8:2 appear to take the word בית to come from בין (ben), meaning between, but the reference to high places suggests that ‘wisdom’ stands both on the tops of high places, as well as on all roads toward the temple. The alternative and apparently most popular reading suggests that wisdom stands there where paths meet at the peaks of high places. That wouldn’t have been many.
• אלה (‘eleh), meaning these. Follow the link to read our article on this and the next three words
• אלה (‘ala), to swear; derivative אלה (‘ala) means oath.
• אלה (‘ala), to wail.
• אלה (‘alla), oak, from the assumed and unused root אלל (‘ll). Follow the link to read more on these and the next words
• אלה (‘ela), terebinth, from the root אול (‘wl).
From מלכה (malka), queen, which in turn comes from the noun מלך (melek), king.
The noun מלך (melek) means king, and a king is not merely a glorified tribal chief but the alpha of a complex, stratified society, implying a court and a complex government.
The Bible insists that a society must be governed by a triad of anointed sovereigns, namely prophets, priests and the king. A good king causes his people to be prosperous and peaceful whereas a bad one causes poverty and strife. The difference between the two is dictated by how close to the Law of Nature (a.k.a. the Word of God) the king operates. A kingdom that is wholly in tune with the Law consists of only sovereign individuals and is thus without a physical king.
An Aramaic cognate verb מלך (malak) means to consult, which confirms that the concept of royalty indeed evolved from wisdom and intellectual prowess rather than brute physical or political strength, as is commonly suggested.
From this noun derives the verb מלך (malak): to be or become king, the nouns מלכה (malka) and מלכת (meleket): queen or court-lady, the noun מלוכה (meluka): kingship or royalty, and the nouns מלכות (malkut), ממלכה (mamlaka) and ממלכות (mamlakut), meaning sovereignty or kinghood.
In general, the noun מלך (melek) describes the alpha of a stratified society: the king or chief ruler, implying a complex government with sub-chiefs and ministers and such.
Most pagan societies, then and now, are based on some supreme leader — king, president, chairman; all that — but in Israel the king was one of three sovereigns, the other two being priests (from the tribe of Levi) and prophets (from any tribe). These three were sovereign in that they had no earthly superiors and took their instructions directly from the Creator. That means that all three were “anointed,” which translates from the familiar words Messiah (that’s Hebrew) and Christ (that’s Greek).
Intuition may suggest that the solitary king would surely “outrank” any of the many priests and prophets, but in the Bible the king is consistently regarded the lesser of the three: the runt of the litter, whose ultimate potential was to be a sort of chief housekeeper who governed society’s infrastructure, its money and its wastes, but who had no real link to the divine himself and had to be drilled in matters of the Word like any other commoner (Deuteronomy 17:18-20). Israel’s first king, Saul of Benjamin, famously tried to ascend into the company of prophets (1 Samuel 10:6) and priests (1 Samuel 13:8-14) but was in both cases violently demoted to the position of mere king, until he even fell from there. His successor, David of Judah, indeed was also a prophet (ACTS 2:30).
But the bottom line is that since all of nature is governed by the Law of Nature (a.k.a. the Word of God), only a society that operates according to that Law won’t be attacked by natural principles and processes, and will in turn be stable. That means that only a society that has knowledge-of-natural-law as “king” can last forever. All other empires, nations, federations, kingdoms and even companies will eventually fail. A society that is governed by natural law alone is governed by the same freedom that is fundamental to nature, and is even a perfect manifestation of that fundamental freedom. This is why all members of such a society are both priests and kings (Exodus 19:6), and thus Christs. Freedom is the ultimate goal of creation and the purpose of Christ’s ministry. Or as Paul puts it: “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free” (GALATIANS 5:1).
Long before the office of YHWH’s Anointed split into three — physics calls this a breach of symmetry — that office was one. But this split was foreseen even in the time of Moses and the laws that described the office of the king, and strongly limited the king’s powers, were penned down in the book of Deuteronomy (17:14-20). That’s really quite remarkable because in most societies law comes from the king rather than the other way around. A king of Israel had to be chosen by YHWH and not by the people (17:15). He couldn’t be a foreigner (17:15), he couldn’t “multiply horses” (probably a poetic way of speaking about the military; 17:16), he couldn’t sport a harem (perhaps to prevent distraction, but perhaps also to not unfairly flood the gene pool) or otherwise enrich himself at the cost of his people (17:17). This also means that when the Israelites demanded a king, they could have done so without rejecting the Creator as king (1 Samuel 8:7), and allow their society to mature into a temple of global freedom with their royalty as a kind of scaffolding for extra support.
Obviously, humankind managed to let herself get kidnapped by her own kings, who became more and more corrupt and self-serving over the centuries. Fortunately, our prophets gave us stories such as the Iliad (of Helen in Troy) and Esther (of Hadassah in Persia) to contemplate, and lately a woken humanity has started to ditch her kings and embrace first the republic, to then envision and build toward libertarian utopias. Long live the blockchain!
Quite telling, our modern word “monarch” comes from the familiar Greek word μονος (monos), meaning alone, which was probably meant to flatter but which reminds anybody with some sense of the equally familiar word ιδιωτης (idiotes), meaning “in a category of one’s own.” The origin of our Hebrew word מלך (melek) is strikingly obscure, but in Assyrian exists the verb malaku, which means to counsel or advise. And sure enough, in Nehemiah 5:7 the Aramaic verb מלך (malak) occurs clearly in connection with intense introspection followed by a group discussion.
Also note the striking similarity with the noun מלאך (mal’ak), which is the Hebrew word for angel. Despite modern lore, an angel’s primary function is to protect and shield, which is why angels have wings (the primary function of bird wings is to protect chicks; flight is a side effect; see for much more on angels our article on the Greek equivalent αγγελος, aggelos). This noun מלאך (mal’ak), angel, is probably not etymologically related to our noun מלך (melek), king, and its verb מלך (malak), to be king, but rather comes from the particle מ (mem), which indicates agency, and the verb לאך (la’ak), to convey [a message or charge]. All this nevertheless suggests a very strong associative link between the Hebrew view on angels and on kings.
Also note the noun מלח (melah or melach), which means salt. Before refrigeration, salt was the primary means of preserving food as it tends to absorb liquids. For this same reason, salt was used as a cleaning agent and disinfectant, and was even applied, but probably proverbially, to new born babies (Ezekiel 16:4).
In other words: the main function of a Hebrew king was to accommodate and facilitate the great human dialogue (1 Kings 10:24-25), and to provide a global temple (or inn, if you will) in which the Word could ultimately be received in the Flesh.
Our noun מלך (melek) is such an important word in the Bible that it, its plural (מלכים) and its pseudo-genitive plural (מלכי, meaning kings of) together occur more than 2,500 times. It additionally comes with several variations and derivations:
• The verb מלך (malak), to be or become king or act as one: to rule or reign. This verb obviously also occurs all over the Bible.
• The feminine noun מלכה (malka), meaning queen or lady of the court. This word occurs 35 times in Scriptures but, with the apparent exception of two plurals, מלכות (milkut), in Song of Solomon 6:8-9, it exclusively denotes foreigners; sometimes heads of state (1 Kings 10:1) but often ladies associated to a foreign monarchy but without formal authority themselves (Esther 1:9, Daniel 5:10).
• The noun מלוכה (meluka), meaning kingship, royalty or kingly office.
• The noun מלכות (malkut), meaning royalty, sovereign power, realm or reign.
• The noun ממלכה (mamlaka), meaning sovereignty, or literally “that in which kingship is manifested”.
• The noun ממלכות (mamlakut), also meaning sovereignty.
The father of Terah and the paternal grandfather of Abraham (Genesis 11:22). This Nahor is an ancestor of Christ and is mentioned in the Lucan genealogy (spelled Ναχωρ, Nachor; LUKE 3:34)
The root חרר (harar) describes a society’s central and enclosed source of heat. It thus may express a geographical depression, but more so a being hot and ultimately a being a ruler (whether by might, political clout or wisdom).
Verb חרר (harar I) means to be hot, burned or charred. Noun חרר (harer) denotes a parched place and noun חרחר (harhur) describes a violent heat or fever. The unused verb חרר (harar II) means to be free in cognate languages, which is the opposite of being a slave. Noun חר (hor) means noble or nobleman. The unused verb חרר (harar III) appears to refer to the enclosure of kilns and ovens, as the first ones were most likely built in natural hollows. The nouns חר (hor) and חור (hor) mean hole or cavern, but obviously relate to the previous word in that freemen surround themselves with walls and armies.
Verb חרה (hara) means to burn or ignite (in the Bible solely in an emotional way: to get angry). Noun חרון (haron) describes the burning of anger. Noun חרי (hori) refers to a general burning.
Verb חור (hawar) means to be or grow white (like ash or baked bricks). Nouns חור (hur) and חורי (huray) refer to any white stuff, including garments and linen, and noun חרי (hori) describes white bread or cake.
Verb נחר (nahar) looks very much like a passive or reflexive version of חרר (harar) or its participle. This verb isn’t used in the Bible but nouns נחר (nahar) and נחרה (naharah) describe the vigorous snorting of a horse, and noun נחיר (nahir) means nostril (which in turn reminds of a cavern).
I heard God say we need to create a propaganda campaign for the Millennial Kingdom….we need our Lord Jesus to be resurrected…
“You have heard; See all this. And will you not declare it? I have made you hear new things from this time, Even hidden things, and you did not know them
Thus shall ye say every one to his neighbour, and every one to his brother, What hath the LORD answered? and, What hath the LORD spoken?
“For what great nation is there that has God so near to it, as the LORD our God is to us, for whatever reason we may call upon Him?
“For ask now concerning the days that are past, which were before you, since the day that God created man on the earth, and ask from one end of heaven to the other, whether any great thing like this has happened, or anything like it has been heard.

In times of war, army strategizes benefit from high vantage points. Looking up on the battlefield from above is the best way to formulate strategies for the troops. Before the use of satellite equipment and heat sensing radar views were limited to ground level, forcing strategies to use whatever maps and spies they could to predict enemy movement and position their men.
In the same way, our lives benefit from a higher viewpoint. When we rise above our circumstances and see life not from our own anxious, urgent, overwhelming perspective but from God’s, life settles become less intimidating as eternity‘s promises rise into view.
God can see the entire Battlefield when we can only see our private foxhole and the crushing explosions that surround us. Trust in his oversight and rest in confidence that he knows what he’s doing.
